I moved to Wylie 15 years ago to have a little piece of country close to the city. Growth is inevitable and I welcome it as a great thing for Wylie. However, the growth must be managed sensibly with a keen eye on the balance between commercial needs, residential needs, and school district concerns.
I have been working hard for the City and community of Wylie for many years. I have been blessed in many ways and feel that giving back to the community that I live and work in is a real privilege.
As Wylie continues to grow, I hear the concerns of my friends and fellow citizens about property values, sidewalks, drainage issues, population density, and economic development. I want to bring common sense back to the City Council and address all of these issues to work forward and ensure Wylie keeps it's small town charm, focus on family values, and continues to attract high quality businesses.
I feel that I am the only candidate who is uniquely qualified to address all of the issues the city faces and would appreciate your vote for Wylie City Council Place 2.
